Dear Backers,

 We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your patience and unwavering support throughout our journey. We have some important updates regarding the project that we'd like to share with you.

 We are working diligently on the layout of the numerous components and are in discussions with manufacturers to optimize production. The game's development is progressing steadily, and we are excited to share some new features and updates with you very soon.

 Regarding the video game, we have taken a new direction based on valuable feedback received during the GDC in San Francisco. The game will now be called "Soulkin" and will be a tactical roguelite that blends monster-collecting and strategic turn-based combat. You’ll get to play as Nadia, a heroine who has the power of Souls that allows her to bond with magical creatures. Nadia has been summoned to fight the corruption that has been taking over Ankiril. 

The demo is already available on Steam, and it will be released in Early Access shortly.

As a token of our appreciation, all backers who pledged for a tier that included beta access will not only gain access to the beta but also will receive the full game when it is launched, allowing you to be among the first to play and provide us with your invaluable feedback.

All Creature Illustrations Are Ready!

Hello backers,

  We're super excited to share the latest developments in "Soul of Ankiril" with you. These past few months have been a whirlwind of progress, and we're thrilled to announce that all card illustrations are now complete, thanks to the tireless efforts of a whole crew of talented professionals.

Alongside this, we've made major headway in game balancing. This task was particularly challenging due to the vast number of cards and the endless possible combinations.

But wait, there's more! We've also been hard at work on the digital side of things, developing the "Soul of Ankiril: Tournament" app. Next week, we'll be sending out an exclusive link for you to download it, which will grant you early access to the tournament version of the game.

It's important to note that the mobile and physical versions of the game will have some gameplay differences, each optimized for their respective formats.

Over the next few months, we'll be keeping you in the loop with more exciting updates, as we move through the tuning, production, and shipping stages of the game.

Sending out the Backerkit survey

Hello Backers,

First and foremost, we want to extend our sincere apologies for the delay in getting the BackerKit surveys out to you all. The truth is, we have experienced a number of challenges that have unfortunately postponed the process. Transparency is one of our core principles, and so we want to let you in on the issues that we've been facing and the steps we've taken to overcome them.

Fortunately, the good news is that we've ironed out these kinks. Thanks to the invaluable feedback we received from the smoke test, we were able to identify and rectify the problem areas. This feedback was instrumental in helping us ensure the robustness of our survey before rolling it out to everyone.

With these issues now behind us, we're thrilled to announce that the BackerKit surveys have now been sent out! Check your inboxes and follow the steps to make your selections.

We have some thrilling news to share with you today! After much anticipation and hard work, we are thrilled to announce that we have set up the BackerKit platform and are ready to initiate the next step in the process.

🗂️ Pledge Manager Smoke Test: We understand how eager you are to access the pledge manager and finalize your reward selections. We are currently conducting a smoke test of the survey within the Pledge Manager. The smoke test will allow us to verify the functionality and smooth operation of the system, ensuring a seamless experience for all of you.

🔑 Pledge Manager Access: If all goes well, and based on our current timeline, we plan to grant you access to the Pledge Manager next week, ensuring you have full control over your pledge. This will allow you to select your desired reward options, confirm your shipping details, and manage any additional add-ons or upgrades. 

💫 Late Pledge Opening: For those who missed out on our Kickstarter campaign but are still eager to support the project and secure a copy of Soul of Ankiril, we have opened the Late Pledge option. This gives latecomers an opportunity to join our amazing community and gain access to the Pledge Manager.
